A week ago, the sweetest woman contacted ordered a couple bucketfuls of dahlias for a Girl’s Night she was hosting.
I was sent this sweet snapshot into their evening and the DIY Joy Jars clearly were a hit!
I love everything about this photo! Look at those smiles!!
The next day, one of these lovely ladies popped in, wanting to share the same experience with her family the next day for a very big milestone birthday. I promptly got to work, filling those bloom buckets!
Why am I posting about a couple flower sales?
Because it’s really more than just flower orders from strangers.
How the sweet gesture from one woman to her friends created a ripple effect with another wanting to pass on that same joy to her family was just so damn rad! Getting to play a small part in this way, helping people bring happiness to those they love will never get old.
I’ve always adored this quote from the movie Hope Floats:
‘My cup runneth over’
… it really, really is and I’m so very thankful for that!
