Things sure have started rolling now! Wowsers!

While we’ve had the odd rain day (we’ll just forget about that little ol’ atmospheric river a few weeks back), the weather has been pretty outstanding here in the PNW. No frost as of yet and nothing showing for the next 2 weeks.
I’ve pulled 400 cultivars so far and have been dividing 50 a day for the past couple of days.
Thursday I will start pulling the next 400 and so on, and so forth. A few more of these batches and my focus will switch to dividing until the pre-sale in mid December.
I’m not too confident that I will get everything divided before the sale, but it will definitely be the large majority.
Compiling the order form will be different than my normal way of doing things (that super duper fun spreadsheet!) but if things go sideways and it doesn’t do what I expect of it, back to manual orders until it’s sorted. I will give it a test run when our Dahlia Hunter ‘Stellar’ Members get their early access. I’ll touch base and see how it went and we’ll go from there whether or not we need to switch back to the old way.
There’s always so many moving parts, and while I wish I could get it all done with a simple snap of my fingers, I know I have to just keep going at a reasonable pace until it’s all done.
My #1 focus is to get everything safe inside and out of the elements that surely will turn on me soon enough.
I did update the site with a few new pretty things tonight, but going forward those photo updates will slow down dramatically until the tuber harvest is complete. Once sales have launched and I can breathe easier, I will update on a very active basis as well as open the community forum up to members. There’s really no point right now with all the work that needs to be finished.
